Alice in Clockland (also referred to as "the Relic") is a large white-and-gold book that tells the story of Alice Kingsleigh and her supernatural adventures in the mysterious Land of Clocks. It seems to be the ancient relic that the European magic society has been hoarding for many years until Kaito stole it and gave it to Akiho.

It is sometimes on her bedside table, and sometimes it is on a plague in the library.

It seems to depict Kinomoto's newest exploits in unconsciously making the Clear Cards, whom Akiho thinks is just Alice having her adventures.

Magical Properties

  • Time/Chrono Magic: Its forbidden magics are refereed to several times as "that magic spell" "that magic" or "the taboo magic", but which type of powerful magic remains a mystery, though they could be just infinitely powerful time-based. It seems to be connected directly to Kaito's pocketwatch as well.
  • Story Shifting & Plot Control: It is able to depict the day-to-day events of Sakura sealing the mystical cards she herself creates and show it as Alice's adventures.
  • Sentient Creature Creation: It seems to have a mind and will all its own, as it had created the rabbit Momo to be its keeper.

About Alice in Clockland

Season One

  • "This is my favorite."
  • "It has no title."
  • "The title is not written on the cover, but it's called Alice in Clockland."
  • "I was just admiring the cover."
  • "What about the book?"
  • "Its progressing."
  • "Even with your D magic, you'll never be able to stop that book's time."
  • "Especially...Alice in Clockland."
  • "He was excommunicated because he lost a powerful relic that was never supposed to be removed from the association."
  • "He lost it!?"
  • "However, the rumors suggest that he simply took the item and left."
  • "The association was hiding that relic, which means it was probably taboo. They're sacred of his power and the relic."
  • "Just what can the relic do? Is it strong?"
  • "If you're asking whether it is more powerful than I am, yes it is. The Li family attempted to find out the exact powers it holds, but failed."
  • "Then I can use the relic I took from the association and activate that magic spell."
  • "It felt like I was in the book."
  • "I was in Clockland."
  • "Remember that book I showed you, Alice in Clockland? I have dreams about that book. The dreams follow the book's story and it progresses a little, each time."
  • "It is the only way to activate that magic."
  • "The only reason you're still here is because you wanted to see the activation of the taboo magic."
