Appear (Kanji: 顕現, Katakana: アピア, Romaji: Kengen) is one of the Clear Cards that was captured after the mysterious clearing of the Sakura Cards.

Appearance

Appear takes the form of a young humanoid girl emerging from, and covered in, blue crystals. She has a shoulder-length dark blue hair and purple eyes. She also has black, spiraling horns protruding from her head and a crystal on her forehead.

The card's appearance resembles Rika Sasaki, due the fact that Sakura had met with her before creating it.

Synopsis

Appear manifest itself in middle of Sakura's economic class, where it brings all roll cakes to life and makes them to chase after Sakura and Tomoyo, being secured thanks to the Spiral card. Sakura unconsciously created it after the picture book she received from Rika that morning.

In Chapter 65, Appear shows itself before Sakura in the Clockland world, telling her that the pictures surrounded her came to life because she wanted them to and that world shows her what she wants to see.

Magical Abilities

Animation: Appear brought to life all the animal-shaped cakes that were made by Sakura and her classmates. In the anime, they eventually merged into a single giant cake monster, that was capable of flight by using a pair of tiny wings.

The extent of its power is unknown, but it is possibly similar to The Create card.

• The kanji at the top of the card: 顕現 (Pronounced Kengen) means "manifestation" in Japanese.
