Trivia

  • The kanji at the top of the card: 水源 (Pronounced 'Suigen') means 'water source' in Japanese.
  • Aqua is the first Clear Card to have a Latin name and the second card in the series. (The first being The Libra.)
  • Aqua's design parallels Blaze in several ways; similar in the way The Watery and The Firey parallel each other:
    • Both have the appearance of birds.
    • Both are the embodiment of their element.
    • Both possess an ornament atop of their heads.
  • In the 17th episode of Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card anime, when Sakura was using Spiral to close the cake in and compress it. She uses Aqua instead of Spiral, this was most likely an animation error. This was not fixed in both the second broadcast and the Blu-ray version of this episode.
