Blaze (Kanji: 火焔, Katakana: ブレイズ, Romaji: Kaen) is one of the Clear Cards that was captured after the mysterious clearing of the Sakura Cards.
Appearance[]
Blaze appears as a large bird with two long whiskers, entirely formed out of fire. Resembling a phoenix or firebird, a halo surrounds its crest, which is also composed of flames.
Synopsis[]
Create[]
Blaze appears in middle of the night, manifesting from Sakura's thoughts Aqua having the shape of a bird like The Fly and how fire is the opposite of water. Sakura tries to use Aqua against Blaze, but the new card ends up besting it. Then Syaoran discretely uses The Windy to restrain Blaze, allowing Sakura to secure it.[1]
Examine Use[]
Sakura uses Blaze in Episode 22 to defend against the cloaked figure's glass attacks.
Magical Abilities[]
Fire Magic (Pyrokinesis) : The ability to create and manipulate fire. Blaze can create fires and bind people within its fiery body similar to The Firey Card.
