This costume is worn by Sakura in the first opening theme song of Cardcaptor Sakura. The song is entitled Catch You Catch Me and is used for Season 1 of the series. (Episodes 1-35)
According to the first OVA, Tomoyo designed this costume especially for the opening of the series (which Sakura was not aware of until the end of OVA).

Design Description[]
A shoulder-strap dress with a large and puffy skirt supported by layers of white tulle underneath. The body of the dress is in red, its hem lined with white. A white blouse with puffy frill sleeves and a ribbon on the frills is worn underneath the dress, with a large red bow to decorate the collar. Long white stockings and a pair of red shoes with a ribbon are worn with this ensemble. Accessories include a pair of white gloves with a red ribbon on the wrists, a pair of white wings, as well as a red beret with a ribbon behind it.

- This outfit is the first outfit to appear on the cover of Volume 1 of the manga, DVD, VHS, LD, and CD-Single.
- This costume is never used to capture a card, but it does make a cameo during Tomoyo's dream in Season 2, Episode 40.
