Sakura and Her Memories of Her Mother
Sakura, Panda, and a Cute Shop (さくらとパンダとかわいいお店, Sakura to Panda to Kawaii Omise) is the 5th episode of the first series of Cardcaptor Sakura. The Cardcaptors title for this episode is "Trouble at Twin Bells".
Sakura and her friends are excited about the new toy store on their school route, but it's owner claims that everything she sells comes back to the sore.
When the episode begins, we see a girl sleeping with her stuffed toys at the back. She's sleeping peacefully while one of her stuffed toys suddenly starts moving and tries to get out of the girl's room. While it's doing this, the other stuffed toys start moving as well. They start to jump on the girl's bed as each hope out of her room.
It's now the next day. Sakura--as always--goes on her roller skates and heads to school. On her way there, she sees Maki Matsumoto and a new shop. Maki tries putting the boxes down to unpack, but they fall. Sakura sees this, and immediately rushes over to help. Maki thanks her and Sakura says it's no problem. Sakura tells Maki that she has so many cute stuffed toys. Maki tells Sakura that the shop opens on that day. Maki introduces herself, saying that she's the owner of Twin Bells. Sakura introduces herself. Maki tells Sakura that she should stop by Twin Bells after school with her friends. Sakura responds with a yes and smiles brightly. Maki then again tries to take out the boxes, but they fall.
At School, Sakura just finished her cheerleading club for the day. Chiharu Mihara calls Sakura and asks her about the new shop that's opening. Chiharu, who is a huge fan of stuffed toys and plushies, asks if they can go. Sakura says that she can go. Chiharu says that she invited Rika Sasaki and Naoko Yanagisawa as well. Sakura says that she promised Tomoyo that she would go. Sakura suggests that they goo together, Chiharu says that she's fine with it.
Sakura peeks out the window and sees Tomoyo practising for the Choir Club. Sakura explains how Tomoyo's voice is very lovely and how Tomoyo has won many competitions. Tomoyo looks at Sakura and smiles at her.
It's the end of the day. Sakura and her friends are now going to Twin Bells. When they arrive, Twin Bells has opened up, but Sakura doesn't see Maki. They look inside and see boxes scattered everywhere. They see Maki try to put the box somewhere, but she falls.
Sakura enters and is welcomed by Maki. Maki apologizes about the mess. Sakura asks if she and her friends can help, but Maki said that she can't let her customer's do that, but Sakura insisted, so Maki says thanks and they start working. They all get Twin Bells finished and cleaned up. Maki treats them to tea and cookies. Chiharu suggests that they go to the shop the next day.
As they keep on talking, one of the boxes starts to move and the stuffed toys fell on the ground. The Panda one comes to Chiharu and she hugs it, saying it's really cute. Chiharu decides that she'll buy it.
Sakura and her friends go to Chiharu's house. They go to Chiharu's room and their shocked because Chiharu's room looks like a "Safari Of Plushies"
Chiharu says that there are bigger stuffed toys in the living room. Chiharu stops and she hears a thud. Sakura asks what that is. They go back to Chiharu's room and see all the stuffed toys scattered everywhere. Chiharu notices the Panda stuffie is gone. Chiharu gets scared because there might have been a burglar and starts crying in Sakura's arms. Tomoyo, Rika and Naoko examine the window.
The next day at school, Tomoyo and Sakura talk about what happened while watching Sakura's brother -Touya Kinomoto- play soccer. Tomoyo says that she has heard a rumour before. Tomoyo says she was talking to her mother after she got home about how there was a burglar at Chiharu's home and she said that there was a shop where something bad happens if you buy something from there. Sakura asks is she's talking about Maki's shop, Tomoyo says that she doesn't know for sure and that it's a rumour in the Toy Store Industry.
Tomoyo and Sakura go back to Twin Bells. Sakura discovers the panda back in Twin Bells. Maki explains the reason for opening the shop, and that her business has been plagued by mysterious happenings; almost forcing her to close down.
Tomoyo and Sakura goes to Sakura's home and informs Kero about the shop. Sakura asks if there are any Clow Cards that collect stuffed toys. Kero says that there are none. Sakura says that Kero should go to Twin Bells and identify if there is an actual Clow Card there. Kero says no at first, but then agrees after.
Kero, Sakura and Tomoyo sneak in. Maki is there and notices Tomoyo. She asks why Tomoyo is there and at such a late hour. Tomoyo says that she wants to know how Maki brews tea--trying to distract Maki.
Kero and Sakura go through all the stuffed toys, trying to find the Clow Card. Kero feels the Clow Card's presence under the table. Sakura looks under and sees the Panda there. The Panda starts rolling away but Sakura catches it. Kero says that the card got away.
Tomoyo tries to Stall Maki. She wishes for Sakura to hurry up silently.
Sakura catches a stuffie and Kero says that she caught the card. Kero says it's The Jump Card. The Jump takes all the stuffed toys and they get out of the shop. Sakura and Kero follow. The stuffed toys start attacking Sakura. Sakura sees the Jump and catches it. The Jump flies to the sky, Sakura gets nervous. The Jump gets away from Sakura and she starts falling. She takes out her Key and it becomes the Sealing Staff.
Sakura uses The Fly. She sees the Jump and flies to it. The Jump goes to Penguin Park. At Penguin Park, The Jump keeps on running away from Sakura. She uses The Wood to trap it. All the stuffed toys go back and Sakura spots Tomoyo and her Cam-recorder. Tomoyo asks if Sakura sealed it and Sakura says that she was about to.
The Jump suddenly grows into a gigantic beast by absorbing the stuffed dolls. It knocks itself out after it trips and falls, allowing Sakura to capture it. Sakura seals it away.
The next day, they go to Twin Bells once again. Chiharu goes up to Maki and gets a Lion. Maki asks if it's for the Panda. Chiharu replies with yes. Chiharu says that she was so surprised when the Panda stuffie came back.
- Maki: (to Tomoyo and Sakura about why she runs a shop) I was engaged. He was a designer, but he died in a car accident...He loved plush toys, and...told me that he wanted to sell plush toys, and that he'd designed in his own shop.
- Sakura: Miss Maki...
- Maki: If I quit...he'll be sad...But I can't do this anymore...
- Sakura: Kero, you said that there wouldn't be a card stupid enough to collect plush toys...
- Kero: Well, Jump in itself is like a plush toy. Maybe it just wanted friends?
- Sakura: A shop where something bad happens to you when you buy stuff there? You don't mean...getting something stolen?
- Tomoyo: Yes.
- Sakura: And that's Miss Maki's shop?
- Tomoyo: I can't say that for sure, it's a rumor in the toy store industry.
- Sakura: (thinking) Tomoyo's in the choir. She's really good at singing and has won many competitions. (listens to Tomoyo sing) It's a beautiful voice.
- Kero: (talking to a cat plushie) You're pretty good-looking.
- Sakura: What are you doing?!

- In the manga, The Jump was captured at Tokyo Tower, rather than in the Penguin King park.
- When Chiharu and Maki talk at the end of the episode, Chiharu's eyes are colored purple instead of the normal brown.
