Sakura and the Calendar of Memories

Sakura and the Panicky Bicycle (さくらとパニック自転車, Sakura to Panikku Jitensha) is the 53rd episode of Cardcaptor Sakura. The Cardcaptors title for this episode is "Running Out of Time".

Summary

Sakura learns that the Clow Cards she is unable to use are beginning to lose their power, and will become ordinary cards if they aren't converted into Sakura Cards. Unwilling to let this happen, Sakura recklessly converts several cards at once. However, she loses control of one of the cards, the Dash, which panics and flees, possessing Touya's bike which Eriol had enchanted earlier while helping Sakura clean her yard. During a frantic chase through the park, Kero scolds Sakura for her increasingly rash decisions and behaviour, which prove troublesome to her attempts to corner the bike. Finally, Sakura converts the Windy and Loop cards, allowing her to detain the Dash and calm it down. Sakura resolves to turn all the Clow Cards into Sakura Cards, but only when the situation calls for it. Sakura fells asleep due to her powers running out. Then Tomoyo suddenly screams who arrives too late due to having a bath carrying her video camera and her outfit she made for Sakura and begins taping a sleeping Sakura while Kero was shouting. Eriol was watching them from above with a smile on his face.

In Cardcaptors

The reason why Sakura changes them is altered in the English adaptation. Instead of becoming ordinary cards, Kero states that the cards will start looking for new power and causing highly destructive natural disasters, especially if the four elements -Watery, Firey, Earthy and Windy- came together. Also, Cerberus mistakenly says she transformed Windy instead of Firey.
